近年因動漫文化影響，飼養鍬形蟲風氣興盛。我們這山區常見路人在夜晚，搖晃我們家臨路的櫻花樹。我們家不是唯一被此風氣波及的民宿和民家。

野生鍬形蟲被濫捕、被帶離原棲息地，造成繁殖不易、數量驟降。😰

愛它、欣賞它，就不要任意捕捉它、豢養它 🌏

Stag beetles are our frequent visitors in summer. I accidentally found this little guy outside of our guest rooms. Now it is released back to the nature safe and sound.

Due to the anime influence and the rising demand in pet market, we have seen many strangers shake our cherries trees by the street at night, in attempt to capture wild stag beetles.

That means abruptions in breeding season, and abductions from its habitat. This has resulted in a declining population in the wild stag beetles in Taiwan. 😰

If you ever appreciate their existence and its energy in the wild, never buy, capture wild stag beetles.

Please also reconsider the impacts of having wild stag beetles as pets. 

Your demands increase its chances to be extinct from the wild.🌏
